26th October 2009 - Booking Period Extended!
The booking period for We Will Rock You at the Dominion has now been extended to October 2010! Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster and other ticket agencies. 6th July 2009 - Cast Change News - Updated 2nd August 2009
The date for this year's cast change now now been announced as Saturday 12th September 2009. Information will be updated here as and when I recieve details, however I can currently confirm these changes:
Leaving WWRY
Ricardo Afonso - Galileo
Rachael Tucker - Meat
Jon Boydon - Ensemble (Understudy Galileo and Khashoggi)
Matthew McKenna - Ensemble (Understudy Galileo and Brit)
Ricardo Afonso will be replaced by Peter Murphy, who took over from Michael Falzon and played the role during We Will Rock You's Australian run and subsequent tour from 2005 to 2007. Rachel Tucker will be replaced by Louise Bowden, who is currently playing the role of Winifred Banks on the UK tour of Mary Poppins.
4th July 2009 - WWRY Workshops for 12 to 16 year-olds at the Dominion!
There are to be a week of workshops based around We Will Rock You, Joseph and Romeo & Juliet held at the Dominion Theatre between Monday 3rd to Saturday 8th August 2009. No audition is required, and ther will be an end-of-week performance for family and friends in 'The Studio' at the Dominion!
A week-long ticket is available for £300 (£50 per day for the week) and includes a buffet lunch, backstage tour and an exclusive 'meet the cast' event! For full details and to order your ticket, please visit www.dominionevents.co.uk.

22nd September 2008 - New Cast
Following the cast change on Saturday 20th September, tonight marks the first night of the new c - new principals are Ian Carlyle as Brit, Garry Lake as Pop and Rachael Tucker as Meat. I will be updating the Cast page with new profiles and photos as and when I have them!

21st August 2008 - Breaking News: WWRY to Tour the UK in 2009-2010!
It has now been announced following a press release on Brian May's website that WWRY will embark on a 42-week UK tour, starting at the Palace Theatre in Manchester on 20th March 2009 and finishing at the Edinburgh Playhouse on 9th January 2010 - you can chat about the tour on the UK Tour forum topic - expect a Tour section and forum to be added to this website as soon as time permits.
WWRY will still continue to rock the Dominion while the touring production is running, so it remains to be seen who will star in the touring cast.
10th July 2008 - September Cast Change News
News has emerged that three principal cast members are to leave We Will Rock You at the cast change in September - Julian Littman (Pop), Lain Gray (Vic) and Lucy Sinclair (Meat) are to leave, with I'd Do Anything semi-finalist Rachel Tucker taking the role of Meat.
As well principal changes, some long-serving ensemble members are also leaving. Head to the cast change topic on the Message Forum to view the latest news!
13th May 2008 - WWRY Extended to October 2009!
As of Wednesday 14th May 2008, Ticketmaster will have tickets on-sale going to 3rd October 2009. Happy booking!
10th May 2008 - Sixth Birthday Celebrations!
It has now been announced that the sixth birthday celebrations will happen on Wednesday 21st May - however tickets for this night have already sold out! Ticketmaster may release more tickets at a later date, so keep your eyes peeled, it looks to be a very special night!
1st October 2007 - New Cast
Tonight marks the first night of the new cast of We Will Rock You London, with the new cast as follows. I will be updating the cast page with biographies and photos when I have them.

19th July 2007 - Major cast-change news!
It has been confirmed that Jenna Lee-James (Scaramouche), Rachael Wooding (Meat), Colin Charles (Britney) and Jeff Shankley (Pop) are to leave We Will Rock You London, with Rachael joining the cast of Hairspray.
At the present time, these changes will happen along with the ensemble change on 29th September 2007, although it is subject to change at any time. Please keep checking back for updates!
It has yet to be officially announced who will replace Jenna, Rachael, Colin and Jeff in their roles - any information regarding this is to be treated as rumours only. Confirmation on Jenna Lee-James' leaving can be found on her website blog.
3rd May 2007 - Peter Johansson to leave We Will Rock You London
Peter Johansson - principal Galileo for more than two years at the Dominion Theatre - is to leave the cast of We Will Rock You. Peter goes on to join the Swedish cast of the musical Footloose in Göteborg, and his final We Will Rock You performance will be on Saturday 29th September 2007. 25th April 2007 - We Will Rock You London extended until October 2008!
News has emerged from the Queenonline website of We Will Rock You London's extention in the Dominion until October 2008. From the press release (full details here): "The producers today announced the extension of the show into October 2008, heading the show for, at least, a run into its seventh year.". The extention of the booking period is expected to happen within the next month, so watch this space!
12th April 2007 - 5th Birthday Celebrations
As many of you will know by now, it has been confirmed that there will be a special 5th birthday show on Monday 14th May. Tickets have been withdrawn from Ticketmaster, although there are still tickets available through other sources - www.seetickets.com and www.londontheatredirect.com. As with other "special events", it is expected that Brian May himself will play the Bohemian Rhapsody guitar solo, along with a possible encore by the cast, backed by Brian May. Hopefully this should be a great night, so get your tickets now!
10th March 2007 - We Will Rock You Cast on Al Murray's Happy Hour!
To round off the current series of Al Murray's Happy Hour, the cast joined Al Murray to sing a medley of We Will Rock You and a chorus of Tear It Up with Brian May and Roger Taylor also rocking in attendance.
1st August 2006 - Gala Performance Scheduled for 5th September
To celebrate Freddie Mercury's 60th Birthday, a very special Gala Evening will be taking place at We Will Rock You on the 5th September. Taken from BrianMay.com:
This year there will be a party: Tuesday, September 5, fans, friends, and family will celebrate with a birthday and special fundraising performance of the musical We Will Rock You. The evening’s performance will feature guest appearances, script changes, and birthday presents, the presents subsequently to be auctioned in aid of The Mercury Phoenix Trust, the AIDS charity set up by the remaining members of Queen and manager Jim Beach, to fight AIDS worldwide.
19th May 2006 - Booking Peroid Extended!

12th May 2006 - Special 4th Anniversary Gala Evening
To celebrate We Will Rock You's 4th anniverary and start of its 5th year at the Dominion Theatre, a special performance with Brian May, Roger Taylor and Ben Elton in attendance. A short speech was made after the encore of Show Must Go On by Ben Elton. A thoroughly good night was had by both the audience and the cast.
2nd May 2006 - We Will Rock You London to stay open!
An annoucement has been made by Queen stating that We Will Rock You will continue to run at the Dominion Theatre until April 2007. From the release: "...in response to huge demand, they have postponed plans for a move out of London for a regional tour, and WE WILL ROCK YOU will now continue on at London’s huge Dominion theatre for the foreseeable future". 3rd February 2006 - Principal Cast Changes
Following Hannah Jane Fox's departure from We Will Rock You on Saturday 28th January, Jenna Lee James has moved from Meat to take over as first-choice Scaramouche. Rachael Wooding - joining the cast directly from Saturday Night Fever - has taken the role of Meat. Profiles are now online on the Cast page.
17th January 2006 - We Will Rock You London to close
It has been announced on group booking flyers that We Will Rock You will be closing at the Dominion theatre on Saturday 7th October 2006. Following this, the show is scheduled to tour the UK, dates of which will be uploaded as soon as they are released. 1st January 2006 - Hannah Jane Fox announces leaving date
Hannah Jane Fox has now announced that she will be leaving We Will Rock You on Saturday 28th January 2006. This date will be her last show.
7th October 2005 - Hannah Jane Fox set to stay
Hannah Jane Fox has announced that she is not leaving We Will Rock You on the 29th. She has extended her contract until January, but the exact date that she is leaving is still unknown.
28th September 2005 - Peter Johansson announces contract extension
Peter Johansson - the sucessor to Mig Ayesa in the role of Galileo - has announced that he has extended his contract until April 2006. This has put to bed rumours that Mig Ayesa is returning to We Will Rock You. Peter has been a superb Galileo, and long may he continue to rock!
17th August 2005 - Brian May, Roger Taylor and Ben Elton receive award
We Will Rock You is now the longest running production at the Dominion theatre ever. In a special on-stage presentation after the show on 17th August, Brian May, Roger Taylor and Ben Elton received a plaque which will be hung in the Dominion to mark the show's achievement. Brian & Roger were also presented with an award from the Guiness Book of Records to pronounce them the biggest albums-selling band in the UK. All-in-all: a brilliant night!
2nd July 2005 - MiG Ayesa Leaves
Long-serving first choice Galileo MiG Ayesa has left We Will Rock You to take part in the CBS television show Rock Star in the US. The winner of the show will front the rock band INXS. As a result, MiG has left We Will Rock You on a currently permanent basis, but may return if he is eliminated from the series. This is currently only a rumour.
